Biography
Rod Kazempour is an Associate in DeHay & Elliston’s complex litigation defense group. Mr. Kazempour joined DeHay and Elliston, LLP in Winter of 2022. Mr. Kazempour’s work at the firm is broad and encompasses case management in complex commercial litigation, discovery, the drafting of various pleadings and motions, and trial preparation.
Mr. Kazempour received his B.A. degree with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of California, Davis. He then received his Juris Doctorate at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, achieving accolades in one of the top ranked moot court programs in the Country and reaching the rank of Senior Editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Kazempour was also a member of the Iranian Law Students Association and a selective program called Startup Legal Garage, wherein he assisted a variety of startups with corporate transactional work ranging from corporate formation to mergers and acquisitions.
In his free time, Mr. Kazempour enjoys hiking and outdoor recreational activities, catching up on his favorite shows, podcasts and audiobooks, as well as trying new restaurants in and around Los Angeles.
