Background

Biography

David J. Quigg joined DeHay & Elliston LLP as a partner in December 2017. He concentrates his practice in products liability, pharmaceutical litigation, toxic torts, asbestos litigation, mass torts, and litigation management. Mr. Quigg regularly litigates cases filed in Maryland’s Circuit Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. His clients include both Fortune 500 companies and small family-run businesses in a wide variety of industrial and commercial sectors including automotive, aviation and aerospace, building materials, industrial equipment and machinery, and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Quigg also has experience in representing clients in fire and property damage subrogation matters.

Additionally, Mr. Quigg has served on multiple National Coordinating Counsel teams managing mass tort litigation in jurisdictions across the country. In this capacity, he directs all aspects of the client’s defense including discovery strategy, preparation and defense of corporate representative witnesses, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.

Mr. Quigg received his Bachelor of Science degree from Villa Julie College in 1996. Mr. Quigg then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate, in December 1999. Mr. Quigg is admitted to state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia, as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
